The place where the great Yagna was performed by the rishi, to evoke the gods and goddess, so that they may shower their blessings over this earth, became immortal. People from near and far comes to show their reverence for the great spot where such an auspicious occasion had been held. The mighty serpent called Arbuda stands here. According to Indian Mythology, the serpent is the eternal guard offering protection against the natural calamities. It guards the Lord from all those calamities.

Near the statue of Nandi you can also find the statues of Lord Rama and Lord Krishna.
