Mount Abu in Rajasthan is located atop the Aravalli hills. The temperature is considerably low here than in the desert topography. It is like a table top built around a lake and surrounded by verdant forests. From atop you have a wonderful view of the desert topography. It is also one of the best places to watch sunset after a tiring travel schedule. Mount Abu earns much of its claim to fame due to the Dilwara temples located right at the top of the hills.
